Here are just a few of the projects our members have been involved in over the last few semesters.

Social Engineering Workshop

Members took part in a mock social engineering event centered around a real case that another member had worked on. The goal was simple, gain access to the building. Groups worked together to formulate possible plans of attack and were given feedback from members who have used social engineering techniques in the field.

CNY Hackathon

Each semester our members attend the CNY Hackathon, a local event where several collaborating colleges send students to be educated and tested in several concentrations of cybersecurity. More information about the even can be found here.

Career planning

Each semester members meet to discuss their goals for the future and work together to develop resumes. During this time, members that have worked in the field present opportunities to learn more about the interview process and daily life in their respective positions.
