President - Robert Scocca

I'm Robert Scocca. Junior at Utica College majoring in Cyber Security. My goal after College is to get paid for breaking into stuff. In my spare time I break into computers without being paid to. With Cyber Club I want to help others be better hackers

Vice President - Ryan Becker

Ryan Becker is a senior at Utica College majoring in Cybersecurity with a concentration in Cybersecurity Operations and a minor in Computer Science. He completed his first two years of college in Plattsburgh, NY and earned his Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He had taken a particular interest in cybersecurity during his time in Plattsburgh, and decided to pursue the field as a career. In addition to cybersecurity, Ryan is interested in the areas of computer programming, finance/investing, and cryptocurrency/blockchain technology. As hobbies, Ryan enjoys playing video games, practicing graphic design, and listening to music.

Treasurer - Randall Chiera

Hello everyone! I’m Randall Chiera, currently in my second year at Utica College and Treasurer of the Utica College Cybersecurity Club. Besides being involved in UC3, I’m also a member of APD, Student Government, UCPB, YAL, and more! I try my best to stay involved in the Utica College community so if you wanna get involved on campus don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ve been doing cybersecurity related stuff really since high school, when I participated in the USAFA CyberPatriot Competition. This sparked my interest in cybersecurity and specifically cyberdefense. I specialize in Windows Security but also know how to work with many flavors of Linux. The Cybersecurity Club is a great place to get familiar with other parts of the cyber field that you may not experience in a classroom and I definitely recommend it to anyone who hopes to pursue a career in cybersecurity. Secretary - Carl Bargabos

Carl is a senior currently majoring in cyber security concentrating in network forensics and intrusion detection. Outside of school, he is a lifeguard. He enjoys playing video games with friends, hiking, and being with family. He chose to major in cyber security because it was something interesting to him and a field fairly new and full of exciting challenges. Carl ran for office because he is very passionate about the cyber club, and wanted to use that passion to better the club and create a good community through the club

Faculty Adviser - Ish Morales

Ish Morales is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at Utica College and teaches undergraduate and graduate classes. He has over 19 years experience in multiple domains encompassing software engineering, DoD geo-spatial information systems, legal/news and business, industrial automotive engineering, DoD logistics, and DoD cybersecurity research and development. His support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, the Air Force Research Lab, and the Department of Defense has encompassed software development, kernel programming, cybersecurity R&D, and technical management. He has served as the principal security assessor for multiple DOD agencies and commercial businesses for information assurance certification and accreditation. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University (2000) and M.S. in Information Assurance from Syracuse University (2011). His certifications include ISC2 Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP), ISC2 Certified Authorization Provider (CAP), Professional Scrum Master, IACRB SCADA Architect, ITL IT Service Management. Mr. Morales retired from the U.S. Army in 2000, is married to Alicia, also a military veteran (USMC), and they have seven children. Ish is currently pursuing a PhD in Technology & Innovation Management in Data Science, enjoys coaching and playing soccer, and long distance running.
